More Than Just Drinks

Thanks to everyone who came to our event on April 24th at Wharf Bar to benefit Just Food! We raised nearly $1500.

This month's happy hour will benefit Just Food.

Just Food makes fresh, locally grown food available and accessible to all New Yorkers through 2 programs:

"City Farms" works with 41 community gardens to increase the amount of fresh food distributed to low-income communities.

"CSA In NYC" links underserved NYC communities with weekly deliveries of fresh produce.

No Fooling

A big thank you to the folks who came out last Friday for the March installment of Sweet Charity!

We managed to raise $860 for The Literacy Lab @ KIPP Summit Academy.  And, many others were generous enough to donate books online.  All-around, good work :)
