just bring it all . . . except not bare!

The 1st Annual T-Shirt Contest seemed to be a crowd pleaser, so we're continuing the tradition!

Time: 7pm 'til late . . .
Place: Press Box (2nd Floor), 932 2nd Ave btwn 49th and 50th
Subway: 6 @ 51st Street

This month's event will be raising money for Bilingual Education for Central America (BECA).

BECA is a non-profit organization that recruits volunteer teachers to work for a year at a bilingual school in Honduras. BECA recruits 10-13 teachers each year to work at San Jeronimo Bilingual School (SJBS) in Cofradia, Honduras. In exchange, SJBS offers full and partial scholarships to low-income families in the community. The scholarship program allows many poor children in Cofradia the opportunity to receive a bilingual education, a privilege that is usually only available to upper class families in Honduras.

We hope to see you and your T-shirt there!

P.S. If you need some inspiration, check out a few of last year's favorites!

Nice job, people!! This thank you just came in:

Amanda-

The check arrived yesterday and the DB paperwork arrived today. Thank you so much! We really appreciate it!

This is equivalent to the cost of English as a Second Language (ESL)classes and a range of support programs for 1 ESL student and their family for an entire year. You and Liz and the rest of the Sweet Charity girls should feel very good about this return on all your hard work! Thank you soo much!

I hope to see you guys on Wednesday. It sounds like lots of fun!

Take care,
